Merry Christmas Eve

Whew. I'm home from another busy day at Sugar, all presents purchased and wrapped and now we wait on Chad to get home from work so we can go to his parents house to kick off  the celebrations.

I've had this post drafted for a while so here's a look at our decor this year and a few new pieces we've added...

Come on in!

love our new advent calendar from Melissa & Doug...

I snagged these Kate Spade pillows + throw at TJ Maxi end of season last year

the flamingo candle holders were steals from Ballard Outlet...

"Norman the Nutcracker" was a new splurge I purchased at half off during Black Friday over at GrandinRoad. I am obsessed. This year I truly tried to focus on not filling my cart at Hob Lob with hundreds of dollars of "little decor" and "little things/junk" and rather invest in a piece that would make a statement + be with us years and years. He's the perfect addition to our front porch and greets all of our guests!

also scored this battery operated wreath/door swag from GrandinRoad...

this hot chocolate comfort mat is from Ballard Designs last year and it continues to be one of my favorites...

Now, mind you, this was when our home was clean before a fun party I hosted a few weeks ago. I can't say that it looks this clean now with two boys, ages 3 and 6 + gift wrapping stations everywhere , etc... haha but you get the jist ;)

Hope you all have the merriest Christmas!
