Quite a scare.

Please say a prayer for my best friends husband who was in a 4 wheeler accident Tuesday evening. Him, my husband and a few other friends were all hunting in Alabama when the accident happened and even after urging him to go to the hospital, he said he just wanted to go home and no one suspected the injuries were that bad. [that's men for you, right?]

Well Ruth took him to the family doctor as soon as they opened yesterday morning for stitches in his elbow and few cuts on his head, the dr. said he definitely needed a CT scan just in case. The CT scan showed bleeding on the brain and he was immediately rushed to a neurosurgeon who began prepping him for surgery within 20 minutes to go in and relieve pressure/stop bleeding on the brain. Talk about a whirlwind. I can't imagine what all Ruth has been through the past 48 hours. He did so well in surgery and the bleeding was on the outer part of the brain so that is a major PRAISE!!!

They will do another CT scan this morning to make sure the bleeding has stopped and everything looks good, so please say a prayer for this family!

Love these guys so much

You never know from one day to the next what will happen. God does so many things for a reason, some of which we will never understand. I am praying for my friends as well several other family members who are also going through hard times this year. It's a merry time being the Christmas season but I know so many hearts are heavy. Squeeze your loved ones a little tighter this year and take the time to appreciate your many blessings.

Never take one second for granted. Life is far far too precious!
